I am certified to treat OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). I work with adults, teens, children, and families. I primarily use Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to treat anxiety and panic disorders, depression, self-harming, and other challenging behaviours.

I use a Family Systems Theory (FST) and Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) approach when working with kids and families. I utilize evidence-based interventions and strive to create a safe, non-judgemental, and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients and their families.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I also work with youth and adults struggling with their sexuality and/or gender identity. I am passionate about psychotherapy and the positive results I have seen with my clients. Prior to this career, I taught eighth and ninth grade mathematics for 6 years and became a mother.

I have a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelors of Education, and an Undergraduate Arts Degree. I am also a certified Special Education Specialist and provide counselling support for identified learners. I request current IEPs when working with children so that I am able to apply their accommodation recommendation to our work together.
